Abstract
O-(phenyl)/O-(4-nitrophenyl)O-(alkyl benzimidazolyl-2) phosphorothioat e derivatives were synthesized and-characterized on the basis of eleme ntal analyses, M.P, IR, H-1 NMR and mass spectral studies. Their, inse cticidal activity was evaluated against Periplanata americana (Indian cockroach) by using contact and topical methods and were found to be q uite active in this respect.
