Abstract
We outline the conceptual components of a consultation and liaison pro ject that has been developed during two years of cooperation between t he Department of General Surgery and the Department of Psychotherapy a t the University of Ulm. The illustrated consultation and liaison medi cal interventions are conceptualized as modules of a still-developing integrated compound model.
