THE DYNAMIC RELATION BETWEEN AMMONS HUMAN-STRUCTUROLOGY AND ERDREICHSPSYCHO-TRAUMATOLOGY

After a brief introduction describing his meeting with Gunter Ammon in 1980 and the deapening of their friendship after the Symposium on Hol ocaust in Haifa in 1984, the author exposes his concept of sectorial a utomatism, resulting from early psychic traumatization. He illustrates the functional disturbances, generated thereby, in reality-coping in life-stress conditions with two case histories. In Erdreich's view, hi s psycho-traumatological understanding of functionally weak ego substr uctures, reactivated in actual stress situations, may complement Ammon 's human-structural conception of stable ego structures.
