Abstract
The kinetics of selective hydrogenation of 3,7-dimethylocta-6-en-1-yn- 3-ol into 3,7-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-ol on an alumina-supported palla dium catalyst modified by salts of heavy metals and by organic and ino rganic bases is studied. A kinetic model of the reaction is proposed. The catalyst is investigated by physicochemical methods.
