Abstract
Computer systems are being used in Fast Breeder Test Reactor for safet y-related supervision and operator-support functions. For safety-relat ed applications, a dual computer configuration has been used for redun dancy. This paper describes the display and hardcopy features of the m an-machine communication for this safety system. It also describes the human factor considerations incorporated from a regulatory perspectiv e for guarding against tampering.
