Abstract
A total of 383 Pasteurella strains isolated from calves and pigs were typed by their phenotypic properties and allotted to the following spe cies and subspecies: [GRAPHICS] P. multocida ssp. septica, P. avium bi otype 2, P. canis and P. canis biotype 2 could be isolated up till now only from calves, on the other hand P. multocida ssp. gallicida were found in pigs only.
