Abstract
[Cr(en)(3)][Te-6] (en = ethylenediamine) is obtained by a template syn thesis under solvothermal conditions from Cr(CO)(6) and BaTe4; its cry stal structure contains a polymeric Te-6(3-) framework whose pores con tain the Cr(en)(3)(3+) template; [Cr(en)(3)][Te-6] is the first chalco genide with a porous three-dimensional framework structure.
