Abstract
Neutralising and haemagglutination inhibiting antibodies reacting with bovine parvovirus were detected in human immunoglobulin preparations (Beriglobin HS(R), Gamma-Venin(R), Venimmun(R)). Antibodies were also detected by ELISA and immunoblots in bovine sera which reacted with th e recombinant VP1/2 antigen of human parvovirus B19. A cross reaction between human and bovine parvovirus was therefore demonstrated.
