Abstract
In the present contribution will be informed about results of investig ations about the mechanical alloying of Ti-Al in an attrition mill, at which the influence of the stressing conditions and the with it joine d absorption of the energy of the milling media on the alloying state stood in the centre. The meaning of the milling atmosphere and by addi tives on the transport behaviour and the contamination of the powder w as included thereby likewise. The description of the starting powders and the resulted milled products was carried out essentially by determ ining the X-ray Diffraction lines, by measuring of the particle size a nd by metallographic methods.
