ON THE UNIVERSALITY IN THE PRODUCTION OF BOSONIC RESONANCES

A generalization of the quark-gluon string model to the case of bosoni c resonances production in hadron-hadron collisions is proposed. In th e framework of our approach, the properties of the fragmentation funct ions of quarks and diquarks are determined on the basis of the reggeon -photon analogy. As a result, we obtain a simple relation which determ ines the dependence of the production cross sections on the spin J of observed resonances. It is shown that the theoretical predictions are confirmed experimentally with a good accuracy in both inclusive and bi nary processes.
