Abstract
The potential of a test particle in the presence of electron-acoustic waves in a uniform unmagnetized plasma has been obtained. Besides the well known Debye-Huckel potential an oscillatory wake potential behind a test particle is found The relevance of our investigation to macrop articles in plasmas with two distinct groups of electrons has been dis cussed.
