Abstract
DELTA(f)G(m)-degrees-(Sr3MoO6,s,T) has been obtained by measuring equi librium pressures Of CO2(g) over the ternary mixture SrMoO4(s)+SrCO3(S )+Sr3MoO6(s) in the temperature range 1040-1215 K, using a static mano metric method. It is found to be given by the equation DELTA(f)G(m)-de grees-(Sr3MoO6,s,T) (kJ mol-1)+/-0.6=-2837.9+0.6036T (K). Using the he at capacity values of Sr(s,1), Mo(s) and O2(g) from the literature, Sr 3MoO6(S) from the present work and the variation of DELTA(f)G(m)-degre es-(T) with temperature, the values of DELTA(f)H(m)-degrees (at 298.15 K) is calculated as -(2821.2+/-3.0) kJ mol-1.
