Sv. Puzach, A STUDY OF THE FORMATION OF A COMPRESSIBLE NONISOTHERMAL DYNAMIC BOUNDARY-LAYER ON AN IMPERMEABLE PLATE, High temperature, 32(3), 1994, pp. 371-374
The results of a theoretical study of the friction coefficient, veloci
ty profile, and setting time of a compressible, nonisothermal, dynamic
, laminar, and turbulent boundary layer formed on an impermeable plate
are presented. The calculated setting time is compared with the exper
imental data described in the literature.
