Abstract
Barley yellow dwarf luteovirus (BYDV) was detected in field grown Misc anthus sacchariflorus propagated from root cuttings. Inoculation of BY DV to M. sinensis plants grown from seed had an adverse effect on shoo t growth and leaf development.
