Abstract
An algorithm for efficiently adjusting the coefficients of equation-er ror infinite impluse response (HR) adaptive filters is described. Unli ke the RLS algorithm, the proposed algorithm yields unbiased filter co efficients. Simulations involving the identification of unknown pole-z ero systems demonstrate the algorithm's improved performance over the equation-error RLS algorithm.
