Abstract
Characteristics of the photosynthetic apparatus were studied in callus tissues from inbred lines of maize (Zea mays L.) P346, P502, and S455 differing in their regenerative capacity. The relationship between th e regenerative capacity of the tissue and the development and activity of the photosynthetic apparatus was evaluated according to the low-te mperature fluorescence emission spectra and fluorescence induction cur ves of callus tissues.
