Abstract
We present new optical identifications and redshifts for radio sources from the Wall & Peacock 2-Jy catalogue with declinations delta < + 10 -degrees, which bring the completeness of the optical identifications and redshifts to 97.9 and 91.5 per cent, respectively, for the souther n part of the catalogue.
