Abstract
The monthly growth rates (cephalothorax length) of a Procambarus clark ii (Girard) population in Baja California. Mexico. ranged (May-Decembe r, 1982), from 1.0 to 0.1 cm, with most of the values below 0.5 cm/mon th. Sex ratio was close to 1:1, and the higher proportions of mature m ales I were found in June and July (78.6 and 74.1%. respectively). Gut contents showed a higher percentage (71%) of unidentified material, f ollowed by remains of plants (22%) and animals (7%).
