Abstract
The behavior of the total cross sections for the interaction of He-3,H e-4 with Ni-58 is analyzed at low and intermediate energies. The influ ence of structure peculiarities of composite particles on the interact ion is considered. It is shown that the difference in the values of th e total cross sections for the interactions of He-3 and He-4 with the Ni-58 nucleus at low energies is due to the break-up of He-3 in the fi eld of the nucleus.
