Abstract
The 3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]-hexane ring system was constructed in a conver gent one-pot procedure starting from readily available starting materi als, using the intramolecular tandem Michael-S(N)2 reaction. The metho dology was also extended to the synthesis of 3-azabicyclo[4.1.0]heptan e ring system.
