Abstract
The stereospecific hydroxylation of racemic dihydro-beta-campholenolac tone (1) by several fungal strains has been evaluated. The 6-hydroxy d erivative as a major product and 5-hydroxy as a minor one were isolate d from transformation of 1 with Fusarium culmorum.
