Abstract
The properties of alkali halide crystals can be investigated by the st udy of Anderson-Gruneisen parameter. An attempt has been made to deduc e expressions for two different Anderson-Gruneisen parameter, namely a diabatic (delta(s)) and isothermal (delta(T)) on the basis of interact ion potential approach.
