Abstract
In2CuO5 is isostructural to Y2Cu2O5 both in its crystal and magnetic s tructure. In and Y can be substituted by each other in any ratio to ma ke new compounds Y2-xInxCu2O5 (x = 0-2) which were identified by XRD a nd IR spectrum. The structural change in Y2-xInxCu2O5 influences its m agnetic property. The magnetism of Y2-xInxCu2O5 was studied between 77 K and room temperature. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
