Abstract
A 32 year-old woman with bilateral retinal detachment was observed for 18 months after the onset of symptoms. Because of probable systemic l upus erythematosus and a partial response to corticosteroid treatment she received, monthly, cyclophosphamide intravenously. The mechanism o f this choroidopathy and its surgical management is discussed in light of data found in the literature.
