Abstract
Coupled equations for the interlayer phase differences in Josephson-co upled layered superconductors are derived in both current-biased and v oltage-biased cases. These equations have a solution corresponding to the longitudinal Josephson plasma propagating along the c axis. Using the numerical solutions for the systems composed of 100 junctions, we calculate the I-V characteristics of the Josephson-coupled layered sup erconductors in the absence of an external magnetic field. Various typ es of I-V characteristics reflecting the dynamics of the phase differe nces are obtained.
