The amorphous ribbon produced from the 71KNSR alloy was studied by the
rmal analysis in initial state, after annealing. after milling. and as
a coating separated from substrate. The coating was produced by plasm
a spraying of the powder obtained by milling of the ribbon. As compare
d to thermal-analysis curves of the initial ribbon. the curve of the c
oating exhibits the following features: the region of supercooled liqu
id is absent: the relationship between the intensities of the exotherm
ic peaks of crystallization changes; the crystallization temperature d
ecreases by 6 degrees C; and the enthalpy of the first stage of crysta
llization decreases from 89 to 81 mJ/mg.
