The higher-order moments of the current distribution in composites con
taining oriented inclusions with a high degree of elongation have been
studied. The weak link model for this type of media is proposed. The
critical exponents of the higher-order moments are expressed in terms
of the well-known indices of percolation theory. It is demonstrated th
at, in contrast to the electrical conductivity, the higher-order momen
ts isotropicize.
