Abstract
An x-ray fluorescence microprobe with linear Bragg-Fresnel lens was te sted at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility Microfocus beamlin e. A focal line with a width of 0.8 mum was observed using the knife-e dge technique at a wavelength of 0.85 angstrom (14.6 eV). Wiener filte ring with the Fast Fourier Transformation was applied to solve a convo lution equation to evaluate the size of the probe from fluorescence da ta.
