F. Delince et al., INFLUENCE OF HYSTERESIS ON THE BEHAVIOR OF COUPLED FINITE-ELEMENT - ELECTRIC-CIRCUIT MODELS, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 30(5), 1994, pp. 3383-3386
This paper describes the comptutation or waveforms of electrical curre
nt and voltage in inductances, taking into account the hysteresis phen
omenon and electric circuit equations. The non-linear transient magnet
ic field is computed with the finite element method. The classical non
-linear case is compared to the hysteretic one : it is shown that hyst
eresis has a crucial importance on the waveform by introducing asymmet
ry and damping, and by modifying the natural frequency of the oscillat
ions.
