Abstract
A method allowing the effective computation of the steady state electr omagnetic field in an induction machine is detailed. The interest of t he method is that no time steps are needed. Moreover it provides a too l to analyse the space harmonics in the air-gap. A truncated version o f the method is used to compute the field in an actual induction machi ne.
