Abstract
Conversion of a neutron star into a strange star as a result of phase transition of neutron matter into quark matter is considered. The conv ersion rate and neutrino luminosity are calculated under certain assum ptions about the heat-transfer process. A possible spectrum of neutrin o radiation is obtained.
