Abstract
Techniques for the reduction of spectroscopic observations of sunspot magnetic fields in the He I line lambda10830 angstrom and Si I line la mbda10827 angstrom are described. The observations were conducted at t he tower solar telescope using a spectrograph equipped with a CCD came ra. The method makes it possible to determine the longitudinal magneti c field in the chromosphere and to estimate the magnitude of the total magnetic-field vector.
