Abstract
We discuss fingerprints of classical chaos in spectra of the correspon ding bound quantum systems. A novel quantity to measure quantum chaos in spectra is proposed and a conjecture about its universal statistica l behavior is put forward. Numerical as well as theoretical evidence i s provided in favor of the conjecture.
