Abstract
An investigation of the coupling of shear oscillations of a quartz cry stal resonator bounded by a self-affine rough surface with dumped wave s in a liquid is performed. Calculation of the roughness effect is ach ieved in terms of a correlation model for self-affine fractal rough su rfaces with analytic form of the associated roughness spectrum G(k) is -proportional-to (1+ak2xi2)-1-H.
