Abstract
Tetramethylammonium triphenylbis(trifluoroacetato-O)-stannate crystall izes as non-interacting tetrahedral [(CH3)(4)N](+) cations and trans-t rigonal bipyramidal [Sn(C2F3O2)(2)(C6H5)(3)](-) anions. The anion is t he first example of a discrete triorganostannate covalently bonded to two unidentate monocarboxylato anions.
