Abstract
The title compound, 1,3-bis[(S)-(-)-1-phenylethyl]thiourea, C17H20N2S, exhibits bond lengths and angles consistent with the build-up of nega tive charge on the S atom. There are weak hydrogen bonds between molec ules leading to helices disposed about crystallographic 3(1) axes.
