Abstract
The crystal structure of dimethyl (1,5,5-trimethylpyrrolidin-2-ylidene )butanedioate, C21H27NO4, has been determined in order to establish it s constitution and configuration, and to characterize the preferred co nformation in the solid state. There are notable differences in the co nformations of the functional groups; the essential structural feature s are discussed and compared.
