Abstract
A case of superior vesical fissue is presented to discuss the embryolo gic origin of the anomaly. In view of the simplicity of the anomaly an d the discrepancies between the characteristics of superior vesical fi ssure and bladder exstrophy, superior vesical fissure is suggested to be a distinct clinical entity with an embryological origin different f rom bladder exstrophy.
