Abstract
A study has been made of the influence of synthesis conditions - the d ispersity of the original Aerosil, the solid-to-liquid phase ratio (s: l), the nature of the dispersion medium, and hydrothermal treatment - on the pore structure and mechanical properties of Aerosil gels.
