Abstract
The postsurgical perineal wound may he difficult to manage. It is asso ciated with a high incidence of complications, including infections, d elayed healing, persistent sinuses, and fistulas. Careful preparation consideration of established risk factors, and careful attention to su rgical technique are essential for maintaining a good outcome.
