Na. Guardala et al., COMPTON-ELECTRON SPECTROSCOPY USING HIGH-ENERGY SYNCHROTRON X-RAYS, Nuclear instruments & methods in physics research. Section A, Accelerators, spectrometers, detectors and associated equipment, 347(1-3), 1994, pp. 504-506
Compton-recoil electron spectra have been measured using high-energy (
46 and 56 keV) synchrotron X-rays produced at the National Synchrotron
Light Source. Thin foils of C and Al (< 1500 angstrom thick) were use
d as targets. The emitted electrons were detected at 0-degrees-C with
respect to the incident photon beam using an electrostatic analyzer wi
th an overall energy resolution of approximately 3%.
