Abstract
In the first phase of construction, sixteen insertion-device beamline front ends and sixteen bending-magnet beamline front ends will be buil t by 1995 for the Advanced Photon Source (APS). Designs for these fron t ends have been completed. In this paper, the particular designs and specifications as well as the optical and bremsstrahlung ray-tracing a nalysis for the APS front ends are presented.
