Abstract
The algebraic complexity of three parallel algorithms for the evaluati on of power series is related to their observed performance in practic al implementations on five parallel processors: the Amdahl VP1200, Con vex C38 and Cray Y-MP vector uniprocessors, and the ANff DAP-610C/32 a nd TMC CM-200 processor arrays.
