Abstract
We designed this study to examine the effects of two types of incentiv es on the participation rate of workers from two plants in worksite re search. There were 186 workers in the study, some of whom received cha nces for savings bonds. Given reductions in funding and concerns of ma nagement, no comparison could be made between the incentives; however, the study provided valuable information regarding planning for incent ives in worksite research.
