The ultrasonic velocity, adiabatic compressibility, relaxation time, r
elaxation amplitude and Rao's number are reported for poly (methylmeth
acrylate) (PMMA) solution in Dioxane at different concentrations and t
emperatures. The results show a non linear increase of ultrasonic velo
city, density, viscosity, relaxation time, relaxation amplitude with i
ncreasing PMMA concentration. However, the adiabatic compressibility a
nd Rao's number decrease with increase in concentration of PMMA indica
ting the interaction between the Dioxane and PMMA molecules.
