Abstract
A technique of corrosion rate measurement from polarization resistance R(p) was analyzed using a cell with different electrodes as a weld ju nction model. The measured R(p) was shown to be the sum of R(p) of the electrodes. Experimental R(p) is proportional to the corrosion rate f or each electrode with an accuracy to within 13%.
