W. Uhlig, SYNTHESIS OF ORGANOSILICON POLYMERS FROM SPECIALLY SUBSTITUTED SILYLTRIFLATE DERIVATIVES, Journal of organometallic chemistry, 476(2), 1994, pp. 225-229
Diphenylsilanediol reacts with silyl-bis-triflates and triethylamine u
nder formation of polysiloxanes. A series of new modified organosilico
n polymers was prepared by use of special substituted triflate derivat
ives, obtained by protodesilylation of disilanes, carbosilanes and dis
ilylalkines with CF3SO3H. This simple method allowed the synthesis of
compounds in which the siloxane units are connected by disilane, carbo
silane or silylalkine bridges. The polymeres are characterized by NMR-
spectroscopy (Si-29, C-13, H-1).
