Abstract
This Letter describes an example of classification of a SPOT HRV sub-s cene of the urban region of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. The radiometri c information of the three multispectral bands as well as the textural characteristics derived from the panchromatic band are used in the cl assification process. A more accurate classification is obtained by co mbining the multispectral and the textural analysis.
