Abstract
Five new species of Rotiferophthora are described: all were parasitic in bdelloid rotifers and were isolated from rotifers from samples of r abbit dung and muntjac deer dung collected from deciduous woodland in S.E. England. SEM was used to ascertain conidial shape in 3 species an d, combined with TEM, the presence of a membrane surrounding the conid iospores of one of the species was confirmed.
