Abstract
Taxonomic analysis of yeasts isolated from soils and other natural sub strates in Far-Eastern regions or Russia was carried out and 45 specie s were found. Six species were found to be new for Russia. Geographica l limits for some yeast species, especially for Lipomyces spp., were c onformed.
